Callings are unique and sometimes they find you in the most interesting of places. For me (Burke) the Calling to connect folks with beautiful wood flutes began on a beach in Oregon with a flute I had just purchased from a little shop off the beaten path. As my new flute friend and I began walking down the beach back to our camp, all of a sudden, a song came through that was like a transmission from the Universe! I had only been playing the flute, my first wood flute, mind you, for about 5 minutes. And there it was, the first of many songs, the first of many flutes, and the beginning of the slow and incredible process that has led me to this moment...
